Doris Mae Elverude Gossard passed away March 20, 2006 at Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, Washington. She was born on the twenty-sixth day of the eleventh month of 1917 to Paul and Elsie Leustch. She had lived in the Tri-Cities since 1947 until moving to Spokane in 2004. Doris was a lifetime member of the Kennewick Eagles Club. Doris is survived by sisters Helen Patton and husband Wayne of Yakima, WA; Frances Nugent of Eugene, OR; Elsie Prokop of Yakima, WA and Adeline Wilson of Couer d? Alene, ID; Two Sons, Richard Elverude of Brookings, OR; and Dale Elverude of Spokane, WA; One Daughter Lois Strahsburg of Kennewick, WA; Nine Grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; seventeen great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Elverude in 1965 and Cecil Gossard in 1997; her twin sister Dorothy in 2004; two other sisters, Evelyn and Rosie and two brothers. A Graveside Service will be Friday, March 24th, 2006 at 1:00 PM at Riverview Heights Cemetery on 10th and Olympia in Kennewick Washington with a gathering to follow at the Kennewick Eagles Club at 2:00 PM.
