Doris was born in Miles City, Montana on October 26, 1946, she returned to the arms of her Lord and Savior on July 20, 2007, at the age of 60. She was one of four children born to Ralph Sr. and Irma Childers Everett. As a young women Doris moved to Washington State where she lived until her death, most of that time was spent here in Kennewick. She graduated from Trend Business College in 1988. She worked at Charter Communications for several years as an advertising assistant. Doris was a devoted daughter, mother, grand-mother, great grand-mother, and friend to her family and was proud to display pictures at the slightest provocation. It brought her great joy to be raising her 9 year-old great-grand son Edwin. She looked forward to the annual Christmas Eve tradition where everyone would gather at her house to exchange gifts and laughs about the year?s events as well as celebrating family birthdays at her house. She enjoyed going to the Oregon Coast and playing bingo with her close friend; Lori Ganders. The Oregon Coast was her favorite place to be it brought great her great joy and peace to sit and watch the sunset and listen to the sound of the ocean as it crashed against the shore; she also loved to take walks along the beach as the sun came up to celebrate the joys of life. She is preceded in death by her father, her sister Laura and her brother Dwight. Doris is survived by her mother Irma, her brother Ralph Everett Jr. of Vancouver, WA her children Christina Duncan of Yakima, WA, Vickey Priest and her husband Fred, Polly Taylor, Dominic Duncan and his wife Kari, and Edwin Duncan Great-grandson all of the Tri-Cites, WA, Grand-children Eddy Duncan, JJ Duncan, Valorie Priest, Keith Webb, Jacob Priest, Keisha Webb, and David Taylor, Great Grand-children Mathew and Christopher Webb. Doris is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Service will be held on Saturday, July 28th at 2:00 P.M. at Mueller?s Tri-Cities Funeral Home 10th & Union, Kennewick.
