Obituary

Doris (Dori) Clark-Stevens, 76, passed on February 21, 2024. Dori was born November 3rd, 1947 in Richland WA, the daughter of Ivan and Hava Bates.

Dori graduated from Columbia high school, class of 1966. After graduation, she married and moved to San Antonio TX and subsequently to Spokane WA. After divorcing, she worked at various jobs finally settling at the Veterans Administration in Spokane where she worked as patient advocate for many years. Upon retirement, she moved to Pasco WA to be near family and worked as a realtor. Dori loved her family, her dogs, her garden, and dancing. It was at dance lessons that she met Gary Stevens who she later married in 2016. Dori was loved by all who knew her. She spent most of her life in service to others. She volunteered at Kadlec Medical Center working in the gift shop. She served on the Pasco WA Housing Board and was a member of Kiwanis.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Judy Pauly. Surviving, in addition to her husband are sisters Betty Roberts (John) and Vickie DeMille (Derek) and brother Jim Bates (Cathy) along with brother-in-law Joe Pauly and many nieces and nephews.

A service of remembrance will be held at 10 AM Friday March 22nd at Mueller's Funeral Home, 1401 South Union Street, Kennewick WA.
