VICTORY IN JESUS! Donna is now with the Lord, and has experienced this in full! Donna Jean was born December 22, 1925 in Ellensburg, WA to William and Winona Nelson. Donna's grandparents were Harriet Burbank and B.F. Reed, a pioneer family of Ellensburg. Donna had two brothers, Warren and Ronald Nelson. She attended Ellensburg schools and graduated class of 1945. In 1946, after WWII, she married her childhood sweetheart and friend Wally Minielly also from Ellensburg. They started a family and moved to the Tri-Cities. Mom was a loving, gracious testimony and loved the Lord. A loving and kind wife to Wally. A great homemaker, kind, patient, and loving to her kids. One of Mom's goals in life was to be sure Darold and Gloria would receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. She loved her Lord, family and friends. She loved going to church with her family every time the door was open. She was a born again Christian and loved her Lord and lived it. Mom you are LOVED and always in our hearts. Survivors include son Darold Minielly and wife Pamela of Pasco, Gloria Minielly Overton and husband Jimmy of West Richland, two grandchildren Anna M. Overton, Richland, Sean E. Minielly and wife Jemmie, two great grandchildren Shalie A. Minielly and Garret S. Minielly, both of Kennewick. Donna was preceded in death by her loving husband Wally, both parents and her two brothers. Viewing will be held Friday, April 1st, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick, WA 99338. Memorial services will begin 1:00 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church, 4555 Arena Rd, Richland, WA 99352. Pastor Michael Gilchrist, whom she loved dearly, will be officiating. A reception will follow.
