Donna Meyer
September 11 1943 - August 17 2025
Donna Meyer, aka (Gamma, Grams, Granny, Mama, Nana & Nini), 81 yrs ( 29,895 days), beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, sister, and Aunt went home to her Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday August 17 at Avalon Rehabilitation in Pasco Washington. Donna was born September 11 1943 in Twin Falls Idaho to Harry and Ann Cole. Donna married Richard Meyer on April 15 1961 in Richland WA. Together they had 3 children, Vonnie, Robin and Richard Jr. Donna was a longtime member of South Hills Church in Kennewick, volunteering anywhere she was needed, but her passion was in the children's ministry especially the Nursery taking care of those precious babies she loved so much.
Donna was also a member of the Kennewick Eagles, and the Pasco Women of the Moose Lodge, for years attending the weekly Bingo sessions. Donna had 3 grandchildren Garon, Tristan and LaRae. 3 great grandchildren, Christian (Duder!!) Kaydance and Sera.
Gramma did not know a stranger, everyone she met soon became aware of all of her family, how old they were, where they went to school and so on and so on. She loved bargains, and if there was a coupon, you better use it!! And if someone was giving away free things (especially candy or dum dum suckers at the bank) you better ask for more than one!!! She loved Bingo, yard sales, shopping, and visiting with anyone. Whenever a family member left her house and told her "I Love You" she would ALWAYS respond back "I Love You More!!"
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Step dad Ivan, Step mom Lil, husband Richard, daughter Vonnie (April 3 2025) sisters Lillian and Doris, and half-brother Dennis.
Surviving her is her daughter Robin (Brian) and Son Richard Jr., Sisters Marlene, Barbara, and Deloris, half-sister Cloreen, and Special family members Helen and Ian, Son in law Jack and numerous nieces and nephews. A special thank you to niece Brenda, friend Thora, Care givers Teresa and Kelly for their special love and care given to Donna for years. Thanks to all of the wonderful people at Chaplaincy Hospice, Avalon staff, & Chesterfield Services care giving, Always Caring caregiving for their kindness and help.

Now I Lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take, Amen.
