Donna Carol
Ellis
Apr 22, 1947 — Sep 30, 2022
Pasco, Washington - We are sad to announce the death of Donna Carol Ellis, age 75 who passed away at her home in Pasco Washington on September 30th. Her passing was from natural causes following a brief illness. Donna was a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Donna grew up in southern California, moving to Oregon in the 1980's to Corvallis Oregon, and eventually settling in Pasco to be close to family for the last 18 years.
During her life she was many things to many people but was an administrative assistant, a Bell Telephone Operator, a bank teller and finally finding immense joy as a homemaker. She was very involved in her church in her younger years, and was heavily involved in flower arranging which allowed her to work with some of her best friends. Donna was known to have a love for crafts, and being enormously considerate of others. She was tender, a devoted wife to her husband Richard Ellis, and loving mother to her sons and their spouses, as well as her grandchildren.
Donna is preceded in death by her father Fred DeWeese, and her mother Vivian DeWeese (Privitt). Donna is survived by her husband Richard Ellis of Pasco Washington, son Brian Ellis of Washington, son Mathew Ellis & spouse (William Schultz) of New York City, Daughter-in-Law (Elizabeth Ellis), and grandchildren Emma Ellis and Evan Ellis, whom all are residing in Washington.
To honor Donna's memory, a small gathering is planned to witness the internment of her ashes at the Desert Lawn Cemetery on November 4th, 2022 at 10 am. The gathering will be a simple affair, providing an opportunity to witness the internment of mom's ashes, connect with family & friends, share stories about Donna. We invite anyone who knew her to attend and remember her wonderful life.
