Donna May Dullum, 84 of Prosser Washington passed away Feb 18th, 2016 at the Chaplaincy Hospice House in Kennewick, Washington. Donna was born October 8th, 1931 in Cody Wyoming to Dick and Helen Downing. As a young child, Donna's family moved from Wyoming to Montana before moving to Wenatchee, Washington. They then moved to Wapato, Washington, where she attended High School. Donna then meets the love of her life, Thomas Dullum. They were happily married for 56 years. While raising their six children the family lived in Prosser, Washington before moving to New Jersey for Tom's job. They then lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana before moving back to Washington and settling in the Seattle area. After many years, they moved back home to Prosser, to enjoy retirement and their family. Donna's fondest memories were her times working as a teacher's aide in many of the Christian schools where her family lived, her favorite being the time she was able to work alongside her daughter Tamera. Donna and Thomas played crib every day for the last 30 years to keep their mind sharp, as well as spending quality time just talking and enjoying each other's company. Donna's favorite phrase of "Let's go somewhere" led the family all over the world. They traveled to Great Britain, Ireland, Germany, France, Austria, Canada, and all 50 states. Donna had a special love for Victoria, BC especially Buchart Gardens and Standly Park. She is survived by her husband Thomas, children Kathy Turner, Richard Dullum, (Rachelle), Robin Porter (Paul), Tamera Merlo (Pete), Thomas Dullum Jr. and Megan McCombs. Surviving siblings: Richard Downing (Norma), Edith Bonath, and Ginger Cole ( Roy), nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Donna was preceded in death by her parents Dick and Helen Downing, sisters Bessie Davis and Betty Hackett, and Great Grandson Nolan Pearson. Celebration of Life will be March 26th at 11 am at the Friendship Baptist Church in Prosser, Washington.
