Donalee (Hartley, Barton) McKay passed away on January 27,2026 in Kennewick, Washington. She was born on July 17, 1931, in Laurel, Montana.

Donalee graduated from Kennewick High School and went on to build a career at Baker Boyer Bank, where she dedicated many years of service. Her professional life reflected her commitment and reliability.

Outside of work, Donalee found great joy in the game of golf. She especially cherished playing alongside both Jay Barton and Raymond McKay. Together they shared memories of many rounds on the course, and Donalee proudly achieved two hole-in-ones during her time as a golfer, an accomplishment that brought her much delight.

Faith played an important role in Donalee's life. She and Raymond were active members of the Lutheran Church, where they found community and spiritual connections.

Donalee is preceded in death by her husband Jay Barton and later Raymond McKay. Also, two stepsons, Sam Barton and Randy Barton. Mourning her loss are her daughters Lisa Duncan (Denny Duncan) and Deborah Dahlen (James Dahlen) and Lorilee Scoggin (preceded in death). Donalee was blessed with four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition, her stepchildren Jill Parcels (Pete Parcels), Stacy Chavez, Val Fahey (Dale Fahey). Donalee's stepchildren blessed her with eleven grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren.
