On Monday, April 8th, 2024, our family lost their beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Donald Siefken passed away at the age of 73, at home with Hospice, from complications of stage 4 lung cancer. Donald was born on September 22nd 1950 at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Mason City, lowa: He attended Rockwell Swaledale High School and excelled in basketball each year. He earned a trophy and continues to hold the record for the longest jump shot.

In September of 1977 Donnie met the love of his life, Cindy Siems. All It took was a look and a quick summons of his finger for her to fall head over heels in Love. They soon took off in his GTO as she willingly climbed through the window of his car's welded shut door. This led the day of March 11th, 1978, when they married at The Little Brown Church in the Vale and enjoyed 46 loving years together. Almost 40 years ago, Donnie moved his family to the Tri-cities in Washington, the evergreen state, which was actually right in the middle of the Washington High desert. Donald Siefken could do anything. He farmed with his dad and his grandpa "Pop" Siefken on the family farms in Iowa, he built houses, raced stock cars, could take an engine apart and put it back together with ease, served his country as a Black Beret, he was a scout for the: 2nd Armored Regiment, obtained a pilot's license, he owned and flew a Piper Colt, was a meat cutter, and was an experienced over-the-road truck driver, driving in all the continental states included Alaska. He was a strong man who was larger than life and was

loved by many.

Donnie is survived by his loving wife Cindy; his children, Tracy (Josiephine) Siefken, Corey (Amber) Siefken, Becky (Jake) Hickman, and Amy (Corbin) Waters; his 10 grandchildren, Chelsea, Shayna, Spencer, Hanna, Jenna, Myrah, Abigail, Ross, Ella and Ava; his 7 great­ grandchildren; his sister, Kathy Richey; his brother, Jay (Val) Siefken mother-in-law, Phyllis; sister-in-law, Jennifer; and brothers-in-law, Kurt and Kevin.

Donnie is preceded in death by his parents; Herbert and Maurine Siefken; his sister Judy Evans; his beloved granddaughter Sophia Louise Hickman, his father-in-law, Donnie Kunzman; and his sisters-in-law, Tammy and Sandy. Donald will be met in heaven by many loving family and friends.

On Sunday, April 14th, there will be a viewing at 10 am followed by: memorial service at 11aM this will be held at Mueller's Funeral Home 1401 S. Union St. in Kennewick. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers foundation in Donald's name.
