Donald Gene
Ham
May 12, 1953 — Sep 20, 2023
Donald G. Ham, 70, of Pasco, WA left us to be with the Lord on September 20, 2023. He was born on May 12, 1953, in Las Cruces, NM.
Don met the love of his life in Las Cruces and married her on August 31, 1973. Don and Adrienne recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. He received his bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and worked at the Hanford site for over 30 years.
Don was loved by everyone who knew him. He was kind, generous and always smiling. He had a quiet dignity about him, taking on life's adversities without complaint. Don's actions spoke volumes about his character, as he was always helping others.
Don has a passion for God and fishing. He was an Elder at his church and served in many other roles. When he wasn't serving the Lord, he was on a boat catching salmon, steelhead or walleye. He was well-known for sharing his catch with a fish fry. Don also enjoyed woodworking. He often made shelves, cabinetry and wall decorations for family and friends. He started
with a few tools and eventually moved into his dream shop filled with them.
Don is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Mayme Ham; parents, Max and Kimie Ham; and brother, Jim Ham. He is survived by his wife, Adrienne Ham; sister, Anne Sanchez; cousin, Jean Hinsley; his four sons, Charles (Rae), Ed (Tricia), Chris (Nancy) and Neal (Alicia); Denise (Geoff); grandchildren, Seth, Matt, Bre, Kayla, Pete, Lucas and Jessica; and great-grandchildren, Aubree, Averie and Ashtyn.
Don's viewing will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and his celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home in Kennewick, WA. Don was a die-hard New York Yankees and Seattle Seahawks fan. His family encourages you to wear your favorite sports team to the service. Following the service, please join us for a reception at Life Tributes Center at 314 W. First Avenue in downtown Kennewick from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
