Obituary

On February 27, 2023, Don Crane, loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many, passed away with family by his side.

Don was born on October 1, 1936 to Leo Edwin Crane and Leona Molena James in the town of Twin Falls, Idaho. Don was the 4th out of 5 children born.

Don entered the service on August 28, 1956 and finished his service on August 27, 1959. During his time of service, he met and married his wife Barbara Jean. In 1964 he moved his family to the Tri-Cities to work for Cascade Natural Gas, where he continued to work until opening his own business: Crane's Plumbing & Welding.

Don and Jean raised their 3 children: Cindy, Trina and Scott here.

In retirement, Don continued to enjoy his many crafts, as did family and friends who were lucky enough to receive one of his treasures. Often times you'd find him and Jean at one of their many grandchildren's sporting events, cheering them on.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; loving daughter, Trina; sisters, Pat, Ethal and Arlene.

Don is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jean; daughter, Cindy; son, Scott (Wendy); grandchildren, Cory (Angie), Michael (Josie), Joshua, Tara (Chris) and Tyson; sister Linda (Jack) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
