Obituary

Donald Earl Dimond of Kennewick, WA passed away on January 21st, 2021 at his home at the age of 72. He was born on April 27th, 1948 to Roland and Lorraine Dimond in Pasco, WA. He was a lifelong resident of the Tri-Cities. Donald attended school in Kennewick, WA and graduated from Kennewick High School. After graduation, he worked at Hanford before getting married to Debbie Parker. They had two children, Robert and Lisa Dimond. Donald was in the army and served in Vietnam. After returning home he worked for the United States Postal Service until he became disabled. He was married a second time to Carol Simmons and had one son, Brian Dimond. He coached youth baseball for years. He loved to listen to music and was an avid rock collector. He enjoyed watching sports and loved the Mariners. He enjoyed having people come visit him. Donald was very kind and would help anyone. He was an amazing friend to all and a loving son and brother. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Lorraine Dimond, and brothers Larry and John, and sister Judy. He is survived by his brother, Randy Dimond, of Kennewick. He will be missed by all who knew him. Services will be later in the summer. Mueller's Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
