On March 13, 2009, the Lord welcomed a very special lady, Dolores Rada, 76, into his Heavenly kingdom. Dolores was greeted by her husband Elmer; son Rick; mother Mary; father Antone; sisters, Blanche, Dorothy, Betty and Marian, and brothers; Ray and Leo. She is survived and will be missed by her sister Bea English of Chinook, Montana; sister-in-law Ella Farley of Great Falls, Montana; sons, John Rada, Ron Rada and his wife Jeanne, Doug Rada, Joe Rada and his wife Deanne; daughters, Deby Rada and Pati Hull and her husband Mike all of which reside in the Tri-Cities; 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and special canine companion Mocha. Dolores was born in Wibaux, Montana on March 18th, 1932. She grew up in humble beginnings and proudly attended nursing school where she met and married her sweetheart Elmer Rada. In 1952 they moved to the Tri-Cities and settled in Burbank where together they raised 7 children. Dolores made countless sacrifices to provide the best quality of life for her children and grandchildren. Her fun, loving demeanor resulted in her home always being open and used as a gathering place for friends and family. Her faith and character live today in the family she leaves behind. To everyone that knows her, they know she was one of a kind and will be dearly missed. A special thanks to Dorothy Schmidt, for her loving care to Dolores and her family. And, maybe, just maybe- in the back, behind the crowds- the One who would rather die than live without you and will remove his pierced hands from his heavenly robe and… Applaud.
