Dixie Laree Weamer, age 73, passed away July 25th, 2024, in Kennewick, Washington. She was born November 7th, 1950, in Anaconda, Montana. Dixie grew up in Tacoma and in the Free Methodist church; Dixie knew the Lord.

She attended McKinley Elementary, Gault Junior High and Lincoln High School. She graduated from Franklin Pierce High School and Trend College. Dixie loved to sew; she was a master of sewing and made beautiful things. Dixie lived in the Tri-Cities for 50 years, owning a peach orchard in Benton City and raising her family. She was a very determined individual and accomplished everything she set out to do.

Dixie was such an important part of our family and will be missed immensely. She is survived by her sons, Roy Trotter (Penny), Robert Travis (Kathy); and daughter Sheri Kethan. She had eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother Dorothy Weamer; brother Cal Weamer (Scheila); sister Ann Jones; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her dad Roy and brother Allen.
