It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the death of Dennis "Denny" Collins of Kennewick, WA. He was born on January 5, 1950 in Payette, ID, twelfth child to Amiel Edward and Mable Veda Collins, and passed away on February 10, 2023 at age 73, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Dennis enlisted in the military, Army Branch, on September 30, 1968, and served in the Vietnam War for 3 months until he was critically injured. He was honorably discharged with a Purple Heart Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal. He went to work at various positions in supervisory roles for his brothers for many years, joined the Operator Engineer's Union operating various types of heavy equipment for many years, and at Hanford. He found his peace and solitude in the mountains, camping, fishing, and hunting with friends and family.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and 11 siblings. He is survived by his siblings: Donald, Joy, Sharon, Eugene (Gene), and David; his children Julie and Lucas - wife Lindsey; his grandchildren: Juston, Kylie, Jordan, Owen, Abigayle, and Elliott; and great grandchild: Ivy Mae.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 25th @ 1pm at Mueller's Funeral Home (1401 S. Union St., Kennewick) and followed by a reception @ Mueller's Funeral Home (314 W. 1st Ave., Kennewick).
