Denise L. Larson passed away Tuesday, May 17th, 2011, after a brave battle with cancer, surrounded by her family at her home. She was born to Chuck and Marilyn Addone on May 28, 1960 in Encino, California. They moved to Washington in 1966. Denise graduated from Selah High School in 1978 where she met her future husband. In 1994, they moved their family to Kennewick. Denise was an incredible wife, mother and sister. She is survived by her husband and high school sweetheart, Mike Larson, and children Grant and Kristy Larson. She was also a loving grandmother to Jayden and Kylie Larson, with a third grandchild, named Carter, on the way. Denise is also survived by her sister, Lianne Helms. Denise's favorite thing to do was go out every evening with her husband. She also loved spending time with her grandkids. She as an avid reader with a soft spot for animals. She worked with them for years where she adopted her eight year old dog, Ted. Other activities Denise enjoyed throughout her life were traveling with family to places like Mexico, Hawaii, and Disneyland as well as water and snow skiing. Denise was a strong and courageous woman and we love her immensely. She will always be in our hearts. A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 28, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home on Union Street in Kennewick.
