David was born to David Bruce Rae and Darline Madeline Rae (Card) on February 20, 1961 in Spokane, WA.

He was preceded in death by his Daughter Wendy Mae Rae, Mother Darline Gilbert, Brother Shawn Potts, grandparents, Uncles, and numerous Cousins.

He left behind his Father David, Wife Jeri, and Sons David, Jacob, Joseph, and Robert. Along with Daughter in Laws Elva Rae and Lindsey Styron, Grandchildren Hazel, Chevelle Leon, and Johnny Rae. His Sisters Angie Owens, Chloe Rivera, and Laura Centers, and Brothers Patrick Rae and Paul Potts. His Aunt Betty McDonald, Nieces, Nephews, and cousins.

He grew up mainly in Spokane Valley, WA. David was very athletic in his youth. playing Baseball, Football, Basketball, and Wrestling throughout his school years. After his school years he would gather siblings, friends, neighborhood kids to play baseball with him.

He attended North Pines JR High, University HS, Odessa HS for a short period and finally graduated from Shadle Park HS in Spokane. Dave earned his Electrician Certificate in 1984 at Spokane Community College.

Dave married Jeri Potts on October 6, 1984. He worked around Spokane until around 1985 he then moved to Pasco in 1985 and worked at Iowa Beef until 1987 when he started at Lamb Weston. He then moved his family to Connell in 1987 where he continued to work for Lamb Weston until 2006 when he started at Boise Cascade which later changed to PCA until his death.

Dave really loved his family, fishing, baseball, football, wrestling, golf, hunting, camping, lightning storms, stars on clear night, and riding his motorcycle.

Dave is going to be deeply missed by all who knew him.
