Pollington

David was born to Betty and Leighton Pollington on March 3, 1953 in Havre, Montana. His childhood was spent on the family farm in Kremlin, Montana. Dave attended schools in Kremlin and Gildford, Montana and graduated from K-G High School in 1972. He later graduated from Montana State University. After MSU he taught at Huntley Project High School and he worked for Aid Association for Lutherans in Great Falls, Montana. He moved with his family to Pasco, Washington in 1990. He worked many jobs in the Tri-City area including Benton-Franklin Community Action Center where he was a GED teacher. He also was a substitute teacher in many Tri-City area schools.
David was a life-long wood worker and was known for his beautiful wooden pens. He also enjoyed watching movies, painting and anything airplanes. David was a long-time member of Pasco First Lutheran Church where he had many friends.
David is survived by his immediate family, Kori Pollington, Kyle Pollington and Geoff Majetich and his wife Amanda. He is also survived by his four brothers, Cody Pollington and his wife Kathy, Don Pollington and his wife Isabel, Gary Pollington and Betsi Knight and Ken Pollington and his wife Margaret. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at Pasco First Lutheran Church on July 20, 2024 at 11 o'clock.
The family would like to thank the staff at Kennewick Three Rivers Place Senior Living for the excellent care David received while living there.
