David "Dave" Peterson, age 62, died on September 25th, 2024, in Richland, Washington. Born in Spokane, Washington, and raised in the Tri-Cities going to Kamiakin High School. He joined his father, Alan Peterson, and mother, Marlen Quackenbush (Riley). Survived by his son, David; daughter, Mandy; grandsons, Dylan and Alfonso. Three brothers, Scott, Ron and Harold.

Dave was a well-known and successful businessman in the Tri-Cities for over forty years. He was a strong willed individual when it came to life and work, doing what he loved, pouring concrete, even sick - not giving up, battling end stage kidney failure along with cardiac failure. Dave enjoyed the water, from racing jet skis in his younger years to surfing in the ocean. Not to forget the endless hot summer days out on the Columbia River. Dave fulfilled his lifelong dream retiring in Maui with wife, Mindy.

Left by his wife, Mindy, she was his passion in his later years living life to the fullest, she took care of him until his last breath. His ashes will be spread amongst the ocean in Maui becoming one with nature.
