Obituary

David L. Linton

(4/17/1959 - 4/6/2024)

David Lawrence Linton was born on April 17, 1959, to Donald Linton and Geraldine Emery in Moses Lake, Washington. David was the oldest son of three children and grew up in Pasco, Washington. Graduated From Pasco High followed with attending CBC and completing a welding program.

David lived a life filled with working hard and playing even harder. He loved all forms of racing and all things automotive. Shortly after highschool, David's passion for racing mixed with his love for off-road vehicles. This led to him and a group of friends to form a 4x4 club known as the Midnite Mudders. In the 40+ years that the Midnite Mudders have been in existence, David was the longest standing member and only remaining founder still active in the club.

David loved the outdoors. The one time of year he always looked forward to was camping at Spring Creek every Memorial Day weekend with close friends and family. Many will remember the iconic yellow chevy luv driving around town, leaving most in disbelief that the truck was still running. He loved his dogs and they would accompany him on his many adventures.

We will all remember him as a man who not only worked hard and played harder, but a man that was a fierce lover, fighter, son, father, grandfather and most importantly a friend. His smile, jokes, laughter, love and passion for having fun to the fullest will be both remembered and deeply missed.

He is survived by his mother Geraldine Emery; son Justin Linton and daughter-in-law Jessica (Lauber) Linton; granddaughters Felicity Linton and Adrianna Linton; brother Paul Linton and nephew Stephen Linton; and his sister Laura Linton.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on May 18th, 2024, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1111 Stevens Dr., Richland, WA 99354. A celebration of life will be held in August at a later date and time, TBD.
