Obituary

Darlene Graff, age 77, went to be with Jesus on February 4 after a long, courageous battle with rheumatoid arthritis. She was born on February 15, 1936, to Dorothy and Henry Sanderson in Lewistown, Montana. She graduated in 1953, married and in 1954, was blessed with twins, Mike Graff (Christine) and Rhonda Garvin (Michael). Six years later, Gary Graff (Brenda) was born. She has 3 grandchildren, Tawny, Lisa and Myles, and 2 great-grandchildren, Gavin and Kylee, who call her "BobbaDee". In 1988, she met and married Chester Ernst - her soul mate. They retired to a quaint and beautiful cabin on the Missouri River by Hardy Creek. Floating that river was one of her favorite past times. Her contagious smile, zestful love of life, laughter, dance, and music radiated to everyone around her. It was said she never met a stranger. She had boundless energy and explored many activities until RA restrained her. She loved all dogs and all dogs loved her. She was happiest when surrounded by her family, friends and grandchildren. Her family would like to thank Gwen, the Knights of Columbus, the staff at Legacy Cottage, and Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice. At Darlene's request, there will be no service. Rest in peace, Mom - you are finally pain free. We will miss you dearly, but you will forever be in our hearts.
