Daniel Allen
Miner
Jan 1, 1965 — May 4, 2026
Daniel Allen Miner
January 1, 1965 – May 4, 2026
Dan was born in Reno, Nevada, and spent his early years moving with his family as his father served in the United States Air Force.
Throughout his childhood, he lived in several places including Las Vegas, Nevada; Okinawa, Japan; San Jose, California; and Colorado, where he graduated from high school in 1983.
In the mid-1980s, Dan followed his family to the Tri-Cities and made it his home. It was there that he met Patty, the love of his life. They were married on November 5, 1988, and together shared a life full of companionship and adventure.
Dan was a hardworking and dedicated man who owned and operated a successful seal coating business for many years. He appreciated the simple things in life and found joy in what mattered most to him. He enjoyed muscle cars and took great pride in restoring his 1967 black Cougar.
Dan and Patty shared a love for riding their motorcycles and spending time together on the open road. They also enjoyed traveling in their RV with their dogs, exploring new places and making lasting memories along the way. He loved movies, was a fan of 70s and 80s music, and truly believed Disneyland was the happiest place on earth, something he especially loved sharing with his nieces and nephews during their trips together.
His beloved little dogs were constant companions and brought him comfort, joy, and plenty of smiles.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patty Miner; his sisters, Melissa French (Rick) and Shannon Miner; his mother-in-law, Marilyn Hummel; and many cherished family members who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Trevor; his parents, Edward and Patricia Miner; and his father-in-law, Ed Hummel.
Dan will be remembered for his strength, his resilience, and the life he built with those he loved. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
