Obituary

Danny Kuh, 68 years of age of Kennewick passed away at home on Tuesday November 29th following several years of heart related health problems. Danny was born in Pasco on August 15th, 1943 to Dan and Jane Kuh of Finley where he was raised. February 9th, 1968 Danny married his wife of 43 years, Sharon Schubert. They have one son, Eric who lives in Kennewick. Danny spent his younger years making life-long friends working on a ranch outside Dayton, WA, rodeoing and living life HIS way. In 1967 he was 8th in bull dogging with the National Rodeo Assoc. Danny was a talented heavy equipment operator and for a few years, owned and operated his own backhoe business in the Tri-Cities. He was a well-respected operator for over 30 years with Lampson International working on jobs throughout the US and abroad. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local #370 for 42 years and there was never a piece of equipment that he couldn't run. Danny enjoyed 7 years of retirement, spending most of his time at the cabin in the Blue Mountains hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, picking huckleberries, morels and watching the deer, elk and turkeys. Most places Danny went were with his loyal companion "Jacker Dog" who is surely again faithfully by his side. Fishing trips to Alaska were dear to his heart. He loved his family and was always there to lend a hand. Dan is loved by many and will be dearly missed by all.
