Curtis Miles, age 44, passed away Friday, August 17, 2007 at his home in Tacoma, Washington. Curtis was born in Pasco, WA on June 27, 1963 to Artis and Bernice Miles. He lived all his life in Pasco until 2000 when he moved to Tacoma. At a young age, he became a member of St. James C.M.E. Church in Pasco under the pastorage of Reverend H.P. Hawkins. He attended Pasco High School and worked with disabled children. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, playing guitar and singing. He also enjoyed shopping and dressing. Curtis will be missed by all who knew him. He leaves to cherish beautiful memories; brothers, Theartis Miles, Taylor R. Miles, and Ennis Miles, all of Tacoma, WA and Donnell Miles of Pasco, WA; sisters, Bobbie R. Allan Jacob, Theresa Miles, both of Tacoma, WA, Opal Thomas Andrews, Rev. Jeanette QT Sparks, and LaWanda Miles, all of Pasco, WA. His faithful dog, Special and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a host of relatives and friends. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Artis and Bernice Miles; brothers, Wiley and Ervin Miles; sisters, Lilly Francis Miles, Evelyn L. Miles, Gwendolyn Miles-Brown and Shirley Miles-Bolden.
