Connie Jean Miller, 75, of Kennewick, Washington, passed away on June 7, 2026. Born on October 15, 1950, in Pasco, Washington, Connie lived in Finley growing up and in her early marriage. She and Larry moved to Kennewick in 1976, where they raised their family and continued to live.

Connie graduated from Riverview High School in 1968 and went on to attend beauty school, where she trained as a hairdresser. She worked at the Bon Marche' Salon dressing hair and styling wigs. She married Larry in 1971, and together they built a life centered around family. Connie dedicated herself to raising their four children as a stay-at-home mom, pouring her heart into making their house a home. Some cherished memories stem from the annual trip to the beach in Oregon. Many laughs come from agate hunting and stories about who found the biggest and best each year. She was short in stature, but that never stopped her from "moving" someone out of the way to get to a good one. She was a supportive mom in her kids sports and activities, even teaching her daughters to sew clothing and fostering a love for baking. Later, she went to work at Cork's Pharmacy, where she enjoyed connecting with customers and colleagues until her retirement.

Connie was a woman who loved working with her hands. She was an avid quilter and seamstress, and she found joy in all kinds of crafting. She believed strongly that there is no such thing as too much glitter and sparkle. She especially treasured her years attending quilt retreats, where she could share her passion with fellow quilters and dear friends. When she wasn't creating something beautiful, you could often find her curled up with a good book. Her kids recently found a quote she had written on a bit of paper and saved: "People say that life is the thing, but I prefer reading." She is probably too busy to attend today, as she has found a good book.

Connie was preceded in death by her sister Judy and brother Bill. She is survived by her loving husband, Larry, with whom she just celebrated 55 years of marriage; her son Brent (Bethany), daughter Toni (Mark) daughter Danielle (Todd) and son Tim (Jessi). She had 7 grandchildren Kylee (Collin), Seth, Zane, Cole, Reese, Jack and Evelyn. That brought her much joy in her later years; she loved "mothering" again, this time with less rules and more fun, much to her own children's consternation. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her humor, her creativity, and her generous spirit.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Mueller's Funeral Home 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick. A reception will follow at Connie and Larry's home, 1819 W. 29th Avenue, Kennewick. Family and friends are welcome to gather, share memories, and celebrate a life well lived.
