Obituary

"Just One More Cast"

Clyde Cochlin, 82, of Kennewick, passed away peacefully on 11/18/2023. Clyde was a kind hearted person who loved God, gardening, camping, and fishing. He was born in Billings, Montana and moved to Kennewick as a child. Here, his passion for the outdoors was evident through his volunteering for conservation of steelhead and helping with the fishing pond at Columbia Park. He is survived and missed by his loving wife Beverly of 49 years, his siblings: Susan and Ken, and his children: Julie, Lori, and Andrea and step-daughter Debbie. Forever cherished and remembered by his grandchildren: Ryan, Jacob, Kendal, Zachary, Jenna, and Erica, and step-grandchildren: Stephanie and Trevor. Clyde was predeceased by his daughter Mary, step-children Michael and Daniel, sister Anita, and parents Agnus and Lawrence.

Clyde was a lifelong learner and patient teacher, many have benefited from his expertise bank fishing, listening for wildlife, and building fires. His learning walks and wagon rides had all the kids wrapped around his little finger. He was a father figure to his nieces and nephews, cherished by his fishing friends, and lovingly cared for by his nurses. All who knew Clyde felt blessed to share a life with such an amazing soul. His joy and love for what he did and who he was will be missed by all. There will be a celebration of life on 12/02/2023 at 1pm at Life Church 7 in Richland (the small auditorium at street entrance).
