Cleon ?Lee? Freeze, 82, passed away at home on October 13, 2006 Friday the 13th. Lee was born January 6, 1924 to Walter and Carrie Freeze in Oconto, Nebraska. Lee served six years in the Navy and was honorably discharged September 1948. In 1950, he married the love of his life, Joan, in Reno, Nevada. They moved to the Tri-Cities in 1959 where he worked as an Electrician for Boise Cascade until his retirement in 1993. Lee is preceded in death by his parents and brother Vernon. He is greatly missed by his wife Joan, daughters Shannon Bob Stringer, Sharon Harold White, and Susan Schindler, sister Crystal Burns, and nephew Norman Burns. He also leaves behind six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was a wonderful husband, daddy, and Pappy. Lee found the greatest joy in raising his daughters with Joan, watching his grandchildren grow up and playing Santa for them at Christmas, wood working, collecting coins, working at Boise Cascade, and vacationing with his family. Lee was one of the most wonderful men you will meet. He was always helping out neighbors, friends, and family. Services will be held Thursday, October 19, 2006, 2:00 PM at Mueller?s Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union in Kennewick. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to The American Lung Association, 61 Broadway, New York, NY 10006.
