Clark V. Harris, loving husband, father, grandfather and brother went to be with Jesus, after a stroke and brain aneurysm tragically took his life on March 27, 2013. He was born in Oakland, CA October 16, 1937. He leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Joan Harris; son Dr. Steven Harris (Shelly), grandson Marc and granddaughter Rachel, all of Costa Mesa, CA; daughter Michelle Radach, Chattaroy, WA; sister Jennifer Cabuag (Mike), Mill Creek, WA; granddaughter Nicole Harris, great-grandsons Andrew Clark Harris-Contreras, Austin Contreras, great-granddaughters Brielle Contreras, Bailey Admire and father Adam, all of Kennewick; sister-in-law Shirley Rowan (Linton); nephews, Dr. Donald Burgess (Patty), Andy Burgess (Kim), Tom Burgess (Marilyn); niece Jana Hoberg (Chester); and numerous great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Pryor, mother Marion Olson, stepfather Bert and brother Michael Harris. He was very close to his stepfather Bert. They were best friends. Clark had lived in Kennewick since 1978 and was a retired technician with Franklin PUD. He was a proud and active member of Kiwanis Club of the Columbia. He was past President, served on the board, and received many service awards. He was a volunteer at the Juvenile Justice Center Library and was a "bright spot" in many of the kids' lives. He was active with Senior Volunteer Chore Services and enjoyed what he did. Clark was an active member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. He was a Lay Reader and Chalice Bearer. He was in charge of Life Care Ministries and conducted services at Life Care Kennewick. He volunteered for numerous other activities at the church and was a past vestry member. He will be greatly missed by all. Clark graduated from Everett High School, attended Everett Jr. College, Seattle Community College, and UW Seattle. Memorial services will be held St. Paul's Episcopal Church on 10th Avenue, Friday, May 3rd, 2013, at 4 p.m. Memorials can be made to Kiwanis Club of the Columbia or St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
