Wayne was born on July 30, 1934 in Picher, Oklahoma to Charles and Edna Benson. He passed to a better world on December 20, 2010 at the Tri-Cities Retirement Inn. Wayne had resided there for many years and enjoyed the many friends he made. Wayne is survived by his brothers Ray Delores Benson, Vernon Yvonne Benson, Dale Dola Benson; and sister Mary Mike Herndon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family appreciates and thanks the wonderful personnel of the Tri-Cities Retirement Inn and Hospice for their care of Wayne. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 22nd, 2010, at 9:00 a.m., at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 1401 South Union Street in Kennewick.
