Christopher Scott
Meyer
May 2, 1982 — Aug 19, 2024
With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Christopher Scott
Meyer of Kennewick, WA, who passed at home on August 19th, 2024. Chris was
born on May 2, 1982, to Valentine "Rocky" Meyer and Roxy (Miller) Meyer in
Kennewick, WA. Chris was 1 of 4 siblings.
Chris attended school in Kennewick, WA, and graduated from Kamiakin High
School in 2000. Chris had many occupations throughout his life, but most
recently worked as an operator for the Operators Union out at Hanford.
Chris loved the outdoors! The mountains, the beach, camping with family,
hunting, fishing, and football. You could often find him at his favorite
bar watching a game, especially if the Seahawks were playing!
Chris met his wife Lacie Gaddis when they were in 8th grade but didn't
start dating until long after high school, on May 14, 2007. Chris loved
kids and immediately took on the dad role to Lacie's two young children,
Destiny and Coltyn Gaddis. Chris raised and loved them as if they were his
very own since day one. Chris and Lacie got married on September 16, 2017,
on the beach in Moclips, WA, surrounded by their children, close family,
and friends. Chris and Lacie enjoyed going on spontaneous day trips;
driving to see snow, visiting different casinos and visiting the Washington
coast.
Chris is survived by his wife Lacie, daughter Destiny, son Coltyn,
grandson Blake, mother Roxy Meyer, sisters Judy (Randy) Eberhard and Teresa
(Mark) Stephens , brother Damon Kahm, many nieces and nephews, aunts,
uncles, cousins and friends that are like family.
Chris was preceded in death by his father, Rocky Meyer, his best friend
Adelmo Torres, and his best boy, Duke.
Chris will be deeply missed by all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of
love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
We like to think that Duke greeted you with your Dad and Mo, and you're
catching the big fish in heaven!
Tu Me Manques!
There will be a Celebration of Life for Chris on Saturday, September 7,
2024, from 1-4 pm at CG Public House and Catering, located at: 9221 W
Clearwater Ave, Kennewick, WA.
Feel free to wear your favorite Seahawks shirt for Chris!
