Obituary

Written By Cheryl

I was born in the cold snow country of Northern Wisconsin in the year of 1948 to Val Gene and Shirley Coxey. I lived and worked on a dairy farm. What a wonderful foundation - to learn the values of life...mainly to work hard...enjoy family through work, respect others, and respect oneself. God's gift of life we are all given is not only just the first breath we take...it's what God has planned for us. I graduated from Hurley High in '66, trained in Duluth Hospital Lab. Interned and worked in Platteville Hospital while attending the University of Wisconsin, earning two degrees. There is where I met my super husband, Gary (of 48 years) and his wonderful family and friends - the McCourts...what fun!

I'm survived by a fun-loving, hard-working family, a lovely daughter Shannon, and her (huggable ??) husband Michael Novakovich, and also my compassionate son Josh and his wife Gabi. Please take care of them in your prayers...remind them to get together and have a Papa Murphy's Pizza next Saturday. God's strength and love to all my friends for reaching out and being there for my family after I'm gone...a sweet THANK YOU!! God Bless each of you and yours...it's been a wonderful journey!!
