Charlotte Irene (Miller) Niccum was born in Yakima, WA on October 20, 1934 to John and Clara Miller, she was one of 12 children, and passed away on November 8, 2019 in Richland, WA. She graduated from Yakima High School and worked at various movie theaters growing up. She married Adam Schatz in 1952 in Yakima and they had 7 children. Celeste, Aaron, Cindy, Angela, Sandra, Nancy and Julie. She became a stay at home mom on their farm in which she worked very hard caring for her children and taking care of the farm. In 1989 she married John Niccum and moved back and forth from Seattle to the Tri-Cities raising their two granddaughters (Sierra and Ariel). Amongst raising kids, her passions were traveling, avid crossword solver, slots on computer and spending all her time with family. She had a huge heart and touched many lives. Charlotte is survived by her husband John, daughters, Cindy (Dan) Newport, Angela (Bill) Schatz, Sandra (Ernie) Skwierczynski, Nancy (Lyle) Korgel, Julie (Jeff) Schatz, two sisters Lois and Clella as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Celeste son Aaron, two grandchildren Aaron and Brooke, and one great grandson Drake, and several siblings. Family and friends are invited to attend her Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 1:00 pm American Legion Hall 908 Dale Ave. Benton City, WA. Arrangements have been made for a luncheon.
