Charles (Chuck) William Phares, Jr. was born October 26, 1951 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Charles Sr. and Betty (Verona) Phares. Charles passed away November 19, 2018 in Richland, Washington. Charles was very proud of his Choctaw heritage. Chuck attended school at San Fernadino High School and San Jose City College. He belonged to the Local Carpenter's Union #59 where he was a scaffolding expert and worked out at Hanford for the last twelve years. He was loved, respected and admired by his Union brothers. He was a former four-game dealer/pit boss at the Sahara Tahoe in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Chuck met Mary Perez in 2003. They were married in 2009. He leaves his wife Mary Phares, his older brother Ron in Louisiana; two sisters, Brenda in Louisiana and Jeanne in California; his younger brother Mike in California; four daughters, Valerie, Vicki, Stacy and Stephanie; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Sr. and Betty Phares. Viewing will be held at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street in Kennewick on Friday, November 23 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Saturday, November 24 from 10:00 a.m. until the service. Funeral service will be Saturday, November 24 at 11:00 a.m. at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home.
