Charles Warren Anthony was born May 3, 1921 in Pasco, Washington to Chas Summers and Alice Probst Anthony. He attended school in Pasco and the University of Washington. Chas joined the Air Force in 1942 and served in WWII, as an Air Force pilot and was discharged as a Captain. He returned to the Tri Cities and has lived there since. He remained in the Air Force Reserves and earned a certificate of Retirement from the Air Force May 3, 1981 as a Lieutenant Colonel. He retired from United Nuclear Hanford project in 1984 as Operations Manager. He married Clarice Woley in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho on September 6, 1948. Chas enjoyed golfing, traveling, and reading. He is survived by Clarice; son Steven and his wife Meredith; grandchildren Heidi, Patrick, Holly & Hannah; great-granddaughter Hailey; brother Robert S. Anthony and his wife Ronnie; and several nieces & nephews. Inurnment will take place in Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.
