Charles B. Bailey, 87, passed away on his birthday, August 29, 2022 in Kennewick, WA . Charles was born in Uvalda, GA August 29, 1935 . Charles was one of 10 children born to Preston and Marie Bailey . Charles was married to his sweetheart of 63 years, Peggy Jeannette Kleinknecht in 1959.

Charles (Chuck) spent 11 years in the military and served our nation being stationed in Greenland, Korea and France and retired in 1966 and then worked for Burlington Northern Railroad for another 20 Plus years. He was a great fisherman and loved his garden.

Chuck is survived by His beloved wife, Peggy Jeannette Bailey, his 2 sons, Ken Bailey (Cathy), and Stephen Bailey (Mari-Lou), 1 Brother, James Bailey, 1 Sister, Helen Walker, and 4 Grandchildren, Mike Bailey, Jodie Loyd, Chrystal Quisenberry, and Sarah Verges .

He is Preceded in death by his parents Preston and Marie Bailey, and 7 siblings, Milo Bailey, Walter Bailey, Willis Bailey, Loney Barfield, Joyce Capeland, Ann McKie and Opal Whittier.
