Cathleen Margaret Bigelow, 53, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2026, following a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was surrounded by the comfort and love of her family.

Cathleen was born on August 21, 1973, and was a longtime resident of the Tri-Cities, Washington. In 1991, she married the love of her life, Ronald Bigelow. Together, they built a life filled with family, adventure, and countless memories.

Cathleen was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was kind, generous, and accepting. She had a way of making the people around her feel loved and accepted exactly as they were. Her children were the center of her world, and she loved each of them deeply and unconditionally with a depth that will be felt forever.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Bigelow; her children, Polly Wiget and son-in-law Adam Wiget, Kyle Bigelow, Ronald Bigelow Jr., Corrine Bigelow, and Morgan Bigelow; and her beloved grandson, Teddy Wiget and countless other deeply loved family members.

Cathleen’s love language was food. She was a wonderful cook and an amazing teacher. She found great joy being in the kitchen cooking for the people she loved. She deeply enjoyed creating good meals to bring friends and family together. Cathleen also loved being outdoors, especially camping, hiking, and spending time at the beach. Regardless of the setting she was always creating good food and loving memories wherever she was.

As her children grew older and began their own lives, Cathleen and Ron began taking more adventures together. They traveled in their Jeep, visiting hot springs, mountain towns, and the coast. They enjoyed discovering new places, spending time together, and making memories along the way. These adventures became a special part of their life together.

Cathleen spent her life working in several different careers, building relationships and making an impact wherever she went. Most recently, she spent ten years as a Service Advisor at Fat Boys Fleet Service before retiring. She was proud of the work she did and especially valued the friendships and connections she made along the way.

Cathleen will be remembered for her enormous heart, her kindness, her acceptance of others, and the unwavering love she had for her family. She gave so much of herself to the people she loved, and her presence will be deeply missed. Her family will carry her love with them in the meals they share, the places they visit, the stories they tell, and all the memories they hold close.

She leaves behind a family who loved her deeply and who will continue to carry a part of her with them wherever life takes them. Cathleen will be remembered, cherished, and missed always.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on September 26, 2026 at Mueller’s Tri-Cities Funeral Home at 1401 S Union Street in Kennewick, Washington. All are welcome to honor her memory and share their stories.
