Catherine "Cathy" Joanna Wiget went home to be with the Lord Saturday, May 15, 2021. She was a devoted and loving, daughter, sister, mother and friend. Her caring nature spilled into her professional life where she worked for many years as a caregiver. In recent years, she served the Wenatchee Valley and the Tri-Cities as a "Sample Lady" at Costco; which proved the perfect place to highlight her skills as a "Chatty Cathy". She was dearly loved by everyone and will be missed even more. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Lottie Stephens (DeBerry), her father George(Joe) Mengelos, and her loving canine companion Bella Boo. She is survived by her mother, Joanna Mengelos, her siblings Dan Mengelos, David Mengelos(Kim), Jim Mengelos(Debi), Susan Mengelos, Jon Mengelos(Charity), her children Sarah Wilson(Michael), Adam Wiget, Sam Wiget, granddaughter Ellie Marie and numerous extended family. Celebration of Life will be Saturday May 22, 2021 at Cornerstone Church Tri-Cities at 3315 West Court Street in Pasco at 3pm. Her family asks that attendees wear something pink to honor Cathy.
