Catherine B.
Finley
Oct 6, 1931 — Nov 24, 2023
Catherine Jane Borden Finley joined her beloved husband Ralph in our Lords arms on November 24, 2023. Catherine was born in Yakima to Monica and Archibald Borden of White Bluffs Washington.
The Borden family made their home in White Bluffs as farmers, until they were required to move making way for the construction of Hanford. The family moved to Benton City and established their new home where the Borden's owned and operated the meat lockers. Catherine worked alongside her parents in the lockers where she met her future husband, helped care for her siblings she graduated from Ki-Be High School in 1950. That same summer Catherine married her beloved Ralph.
The new couple bought a home in Kennewick and became lifelong members of St Joseph parish. For three years Catherine worked at Hanford then in 1954 she and Ralph began their family and Catherine embraced her career as a homemaker.
St Joseph Parish and her faith continued to be her foundation and with much joy Catherine enrolled her children in St Joseph School in 1964 the year it opened. Catherine volunteered her time and talents to support the burgeoning school wherever and whenever she found a need.
Catherine and Ralph embraced parenthood with all the joy, love, laughter and tears that come with it. Then with the fullness of time and the children raised, Catherine and Ralph spent their retirement years travelling and being with each other. They celebrated 62 anniversaries before Ralph passed. Catherine has now rejoined Ralph in the loving arms of our lord and savior.

Finley; their daughter, Mary Alice Finley; her parents, Archie and Monica Borden; her sisters, Dolores Borden Milliman, SR Marie Monica Borden, and Veronica Borden Jones; and her brother, Irving Randell Borden.
