In loving memory of Carol Ann Pedersen, of Benton City, Washington. Carol was born in Amarillo, Texas on July 19, 1947, and she passed away peacefully from a 3-year battle with cancer on November 8th, 2024.

Carol is survived by her beloved husband Richard, and her four children; Greg Olson, Deanna MacFarlan (William), Amy Maier (Eddie Loos) and Tonya Scheel (Michael), two Step-sons Mike (Jamie Flynn) and Jeremy Pedersen. She was the proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren: Joshua, Ashley, Iasiah, Tim, Hayley, Simon, Tyler, and Gabe. She is also the great-grandmother of 9. She is survived by her brothers Steve and Tom Hilker. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, Floyd and Pat Hilker, sisters Barbara and Sharon and brother Terry.

Carol spent most of her life as a resident of the Tri-Cities, moving here as a teenager from Texas with her family so her father could work the farmland in North Pasco. She worked several different positions out on the Hanford site, from 100N to the Federal Building and retiring in 2010 to be with Richard. She loved to be with family, thrift shopping and sewing. She recently donated over 80 of her handmade bags to the Cancer Center of the Tri-Cities with the help of her sister in-law Pam Pedersen and nurse friend Amanda.

Friends are invited to join the family to celebrate the life of Carol on November 18, 2024, at 11:00 at Mueller's Funeral home,

1401 S Union Street, Kennewick, WA. Burial services will be held directly after the service.

In lieu of flowers, if you wish, the family is requesting donations to the Cancer Center of the Tri-Cities, in Carol's name. The family would also like to thank the nursing staff from Atomic Home Health for their care, love and compassion for both Carol & Rich the last several years.
