Our mom, Carmen Marie Graves, was born November 23, 1938, to Gail and Midge Glendenning in Wenatchee, Washington. In 1944, her brother, Michael Lee was born and in 1947 the family moved to the Tri-Cities. Carmen was married to Fritz Jay for 18 years and had three children: Tana Rae, Michael James and Mark Barnett. In 1972, she married Robert G. Graves, who she remained married to until his passing this last March. That marriage brought his children, Dennis and Joy Graves, Nancy Graves and Peggy Graves; and two granddaughters, Carolyn Ervin and husband, John and Jennifer Dovey and husband John. Mom's health brought a lot of tragedy to her life. We will miss her fabulous sense of humor and her affection. We will be with her again someday where there are no tears. We are thankful to our Lord for His grace, mercy and love that has provided her a heavenly home and eternal relationships. Carmen is survived by her children, Tana and husband, Michael Lombardo granddaughter Taryn and husband, Joe Lombardo, Mike and wife, Carlene Jay grandsons, Jack, Fritz and Joey, Mark Jay grandsons, Brett and his wife, Haley and Dru; her brother, Mike and wife, Lana Glendenning; her niece, Gracia and husband, Tom Sinclair and their children, Ellie and Zane.
