Calvin "Terry" Baze, 76 of Benton City, WA. Passed away peacefully in his sleep with his wife by his side at Kadlec Hospital on March 26, 2025.

Born August 9th,1948 in Sunnyside, WA and raised in Bellevue, WA. As a child in the early 50's, while at his grandmother's Mount Baker area home, Terry would hear the roar of the Hydroplanes and he, his little brother and neighborhood kids would race over the hill towing their wooden models behind their bikes to Lake Washington.

As a senior at Newport High School, Terry was a Quarterback for the knights and graduated in 1966.

Terry had a wide range of adventures and accomplishments over the year. Working in Hawaii, logging in Morton and Forks, making and selling jewelry at street fairs across the state, working as a rodeo clown, raising and racing horses at Playfair, Longacres, Yakima and other racetracks across the Northwest. He bought and sold hay and umpired local baseball games while at the same time being the caregiver to the love of his life Sharon.

Due to several recent strokes, Terry had joined Sharon at the Guardian Angels assisted living in Richland.

Terry is survived by his wife of over 40 years Sharon of Benton City, his son Sean Baze of Seattle; Their daughter Brandy Huff, her husband Trey and their daughter Cheyenne Dawson and son Tregan of Harrison, Arkansas. Their son Laine, his wife Josie and daughters Quincey and Brynnlee of Goldendale, WA. His sister Gail Overgaard, her husband Russell, their daughter Julianne and son Fredrick, his Brother Lance Baze, his wife Kathryn and daughters Courtney and Justine, his brother Brent Carlson and Brent's son Paul Carlson. His sister Alicia Aldendorf, her husband Naden and daughters Sorrel and Sage of Valleyford, WA. His sister Anali Baze of WA.

Services will be held April 12th at the American Legion in Benton City at 1:00 pm.
