Buddy Ray Fish was born October 7, 1948 to Evelyn Nass and Grover Fish in Toppenish, WA. He joined sister Jackie and a few years later, Jan joined the family. He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew Matthew Hopwood and brother-in-law Dale Traner. After moving to Yakima, he excelled in Baseball and loved all sports. He played shortstop at YVC and CWU. He graduated from CWU and began his teaching career at Highland Middle School in Kennewick. Buddy spent 30 years teaching Middle School. He taught a Christmas Around the World unit and Baseball unit that he loved as much as the students. He always enjoyed hearing from former students.

Buddy spent 4 years in the Navy. He served on the USS Dixie, traveling to the Philippines, Japan, San Diego and Whidbey Island. Buddy had a life long love of music. Amazingly he could name most pop songs in one or two notes.

Everyone is encouraged to wear Sport Jerseys / T-shirts to the service. Please bring a chair for the picnic in the park. We'll start the Memorial service in the chapel at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, followed by a graveside inurnment in the veteran's section at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, and finish with a picnic in the park.

He cherished his two sons Erin and Casey and his wife Nancy of 57 years. He leaves behind many good friends and memories. His kindness will be missed by all.
