Bryce J. Cheney passed away on January 19, 2018 in Richland, Washington. He was 95 years old. He was born February 7, 1922 in Ririe, Idaho to Austin and Carrie (Pincock) Cheney. Bryce joined the Marines in 1942 and was discharged when WWII ended. He married Shirley (Smith) Cheney in 1946. They moved to the Pasco area in 1954. He farmed, raised horses, and worked as a construction superintendent for George A Grant. Bryce was a long term member of the Benton Franklin County Sheriff's Posse. He married Jo Jennings in 1981. They ran a care facility out of their home. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and a great example of hard work. Bryce was preceded in death by his son Bradley Cheney. He is survived by 5 siblings, 6 children, 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. There will be a viewing at Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home in Pasco on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. The service will be Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 10:00 am, with viewing beginning at 9:00am at the Pasco LDS Stake Center, 2004 N. 24th Ave, with burial to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Kennewick.
