Brittany Sample, 16, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2006, after a short battle with Leukemia, at Sacred Heart Children?s Hospital in Spokane, Washington surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 31, 1990 in Pasco, Washington to Bob & Shauana Sample. She lived in West Richland, Washington with her family; Bob, Shauana, Robert, and Parker. She attended Hanford High School as a Junior and recently obtained her driver?s license which gave her great joy. She especially loved driving her little brothers around town. Brittany was a wonderful young lady that loved by all that met her. Her love of family and children was a joy for all to see. We will miss her wonderful personality and quick wit. She has touched many lives and will be truly missed by all. She is survived by her parents, Bob & Shauana Sample; brothers, Robert and Parker of West Richland; grandparents, Nanny and Papa Glen and Paula Mahaffey of Richland; grandmother, Janet Sample of Prosser; Uncle Glenny Boy Glen Mahaffey Junior of Richland; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and Hanford High schoolmates. The Sample family would like to recognize and give a special thanks to the incredible staff of the Sacred Heart Medical Center Children?s Center, Family and friends that supported them in Brittany?s battle with Leukemia. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 29, 2006 at 2:00p.m. at Mueller?s Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union in Kennewick with a viewing on Thursday, September 28, 2006 from 5:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Mueller?s Tri-Cities Funeral Home. In memory of Brittany, feel free to wear pink to the services.
