Brian Christopher Prudhomme was raised up into the loving arms of Jesus on December 1, 2014. Brian was born on December 27, 1959, the youngest of four sons born to Chester Joseph Prudhomme and Patricia Neil Prudhomme. Brian grew up in Kennewick, Washington where he attended Kamiakin High School and Columbia Basin College where he majored in Limnology. In 1984 Brian married his junior high and high school love of his life Lorinda Jean Prudhomme. Brian and Lorinda raised six children together and are the proud grandparents of three loving grandchildren. Brian was a hard worker from the very young age of 14 with his first job at Vista Elementary as a custodian. By the time Brian had graduated and turned 18, he had earned enough money to buy his first brand new car, a Subaru, which he paid cash for. Brian later became employed for the Department of Corrections as a Safety Officer for fifteen years; which he served until his death. Brian took the position of safety officer very seriously and would often go beyond his normal duties to ensure the safety of others. Brian had many hobbies and was a skilled craftsman. He loved to hunt and fish but most of all he loved to take his family on road adventures which always ended up being fun filled, hiking in strange places and digging in streams. He taught his children many things such as names of trees, plants and fish. Brian was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church (Missouri Synod) and was an active servant in the congregation. Brian loved doing service work, singing hymns and listening to Pastor Mark's sermons. Brian was preceded in death by his father Chester Joseph Prudhomme, his mother Patricia Neil Prudhomme and his loving daughter Lorinda Louise Prudhomme. Those in waiting to join him are his wife Lorinda J. Prudhomme, his children Christopher Rowlette, Matthew Rowlette, Mitchel Rowlette, Chester Prudhomme and Brian P.M. Prudhomme; his grandchildren Matthew Rowlette, Jacob Rowlette and Kylie Goodrich-Rowlette; his older brothers Chester "Prudy" Prudhomme, Patrick (Linda) Prudhomme, and Michael (Sue) Prudhomme. There will be viewing on Thursday, December 4th and Friday the 5th, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 6th, 10:00 a.m., at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 2505 W. 27th Ave., Kennewick, with a light lunch to follow. Brian's flower arrangements will be red and white.
