Brenda Jo Young

Brenda was born to John and Maxine Christensen and raised in the Tri-Cities with her two sisters, Sandra and Janice, and her brother, Jerry.

Brenda graduated from Kamiakin High School in 1974 and attended Columbia Basin College before starting her career in telecommunications, which took her to Portland, OR and Everett, WA before returning to the Tri-Cities where she retired from Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.

Brenda was active in her community and volunteered with the Rotary Club for many years.

Brenda loved singing, playing the piano and mandolin for family and friends on special occasions.

Brenda loved being a Mother to her son, John, a wife to her late husband, Joe, and grandmother to her three grandchildren, Wyatt, Benjamin, and Ava.
