Bradley Joseph
Novak
Apr 13, 1961 — Mar 2, 2023
On the morning of March 2, 2023, Bradley Joseph Novak of Kennewick, WA died at the age of 61 due to health complications.
Brad was born on April 13, 1961, with an old soul of the Wild West. He was born to Bob and Dixie Novak in Renton, WA and he lived most of his life in the Tri-Cities, WA.
Brad was a loving, caring man who had a true love for the outdoors and all that comes with it. Even more so, the outdoors loved Brad. When he was very young, his outdoor adventures began with his dad and Mom at Redfish Lake Idaho trying to hook an elusive salmon. Brad went on to enjoy many notable adventures such as horseback riding in the Idaho Sawtooth Mountains and hiking the Beckler meadows in Yellowstone Park. He had a great love for fishing and bow hunting, particularly in the Blue Mountains and around Eastern Washington. Brad also enjoyed traveling to discover and explore many destinations as well as to visit friends and family. He played a mean game of darts; ping pong and golf, and he could target shoot with an eagle eye. He also enjoyed downhill skiing and basking in the sun while boating on the Columbia River. He treasured playing cards with his family after a family meal. He loved to cook and was quite a grill master and rib smoker. Coffee or no coffee, Brad enjoyed the daily morning entertainment of the 'Price is Right' television show. Brad was a skilled worker whose talents allowed him to do many different jobs. His first career adventure was braving the Gulf of Alaska on a crabbing vessel. He was a Hanford Area truck driver, Maintenance, and Operations Manager for a local resort and a Warehouseman.
Brad is preceded in death by his mother Dixie, his eldest son Bradley JR., and his daughter, Shayann, grandparents, and close family.
He survived by his father, Robert Novak, his son Joseph Novak, wife, Jillian and grandson, Knox Novak, his sisters, Gina Layton and (Doug) and Cathy Shaheen and (Tony), his extended family including, his nieces Shaelyn and Cailee Layton, Megan Shaheen and nephew Michael Shaheen, his grandson, Kayne Novak, and his best friend, Jim Manderscheid and Jim's family.
We will miss you Brad, every day and every sunset! "And He arose and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, peace be still. And the wind ceased and there was a great calm."
We would like to thank Lincoln County Hospital in Davenport, WA and Lourdes Hospital in Pasco, WA for the excellent care of Brad during his illness.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Friends of

Family service will be June 3, 2023. B
