Obituary

Bonnie Myer Gordon, of Pasco, WA, passed away peacefully January 14, 2026 at the age of 70 with her granddaughter Bellah and dear friend Darryl Coleman by her side.

She was born June 12, 1955 at Dale's Sanitarium in Saugerties NY to the late Leighton and Elinor Myer. Bonnie graduated from Saugerties High School then went on to work for KTB, a printing shop in Saugerties. She later left her hometown to relocate in the state of Washington where she was previously employed by the Tri City Herald, Benton County Jail, and Richland Police Department.

Anyone who knew her was blessed by her amazing wit, enormous heart and entertained by her hilarious or heartfelt poems. She gave back to her community by feeding the homeless and supporting the many local toy drives. At times Bonnie could be seen volunteering for Clean Sweep of the Tri-Cities until her body made her slow down.

Bonnie could always be found at her favorite local store GOODWILL. Sometimes she would lend a helping hand there and found many treasures which ALWAYS brought so much joy and lots of smiles to her face. She loved listening to music with her favorite group being THE BEATLES. She will be missed by her little dogs Yoko, Clover, Bandit, and Maggie.

1 Corinthians 13: 4-8

4. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.6. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.8. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
