Obituary

Bonnie Fay Laramore Fox, 72, passed away on August 1, 2009 at Hospice at the Chaplaincy in Kennewick, WA. Bonnie was born July 26th 1937 in Cullman, Alabama to Jack and Gladys Burke. At the age of 9 she moved to Washington State where she later graduated from Kennewick High School in 1955. After high school she moved to California where she married William Michael Laramore. William passed away in February 1963. Bonnie went back to school in 1968 to get her beautician's license. She owned her own beauty shop in Sacramento, CA and raised her two sons on her own. In 1977 Bonnie moved back to Washington State; obtained her real estate agent's license and worked as a real estate sales agent for several years. In 1982 she met John Fox who became her husband in 1987. They had a true love that was unmatched. Bonnie was happiest when driving with John as a long haul truck driver. She was able to see much of the country during years of traveling with John. They also took many trips to California, the Oregon coast and even spent two weeks in Europe. Bonnie was very talented with her needlework which was her main hobby. She was extremely proud of her knitted bridal gowns made for miniature scale dolls. She also won awards for some of her work. Bonnie was very much loved by those who knew her. She was a kind and loving woman with a fiery spirit. She is preceded in death by her mother and father. Bonnie is survived by her husband, John Fox of Irrigon, Oregon; brother, Larry Leach of Folsom, California; children, Gary Anne Laramore of Sacramento, California; Mike Tammy Laramore of Walla Walla, Washington, David Diana Fox of Benton City, Washington, Linda Land of Kennewick, Washington; grandchildren, Patricia, Patrick, Jessica, and Haley Laramore, Luke Fox, Mike Mirabelle Land, Robby, Heather and Jacob Land; great grandchildren, Torrance Hermanson, Evan Laramore, Brian Grabner and Alisia Land. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 2:00pm at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 South Union in Kennewick, Washington with Pastor Alan Moore and Pastor Alan Chapman conducting the service. A special thank you goes to Dr. Manaloto and Rosario Carrera of Lourdes Medical Center and to the staff at Hospice at the Chaplaincy.
