Obituary

Kennewick resident Bobbie Benton Hull passed away July 25th 2023 at years old after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born and raised west of Yakima in Tampico, where she developed a love of the outdoors- especially animals, camping and fishing. She met her husband of 44 years in Yakima. They attended Utah State University where she earned her bachelor's degree in Soil Science.

A lifelong volunteer, she was often found contributing to her community in classrooms, homeless shelters, at the West Valley Fair, and other local organizations committed to education, science and service.

She loved Science Fiction, history, science, learning, and creating art in many mediums. She was a published author, an award winning artist, and a proud grandmother.

She is preceeded in death by her mother G Jeanette Merritt Lowry and her father J Robert Benton. She is survived by her husband Brian Hull, brother Steven Benton (Beckie), daughters Julianne Koch (Andrew Jr) and Kristin Granstrand (Kyle), her 7 grandchildren Desirae, Liam, Drew, Abigail, Azalea, D and O- and her beloved service dog of 11 years Loki.

A celebration of life will take place at the West Valley fairgrounds in Wiley City on August 22nd at 1 pm.
